Before I pack these cuties up, these are the Pops I got signed by Hynden Walch earlier this year. She hadn’t seen the figures before and got crazy excited over them, it was beyond adorable!

I guess I can retire now.

…Please tell me that’s not going to be another Hot Topic Exclusive. People outside of the US want Charlie too!

The idea of Hot Topic exclusives being some kind of variant would be WAY more convenient to collectors.

I’ve seen a lot of commotion over the very real lack of MCU female super hero merchandising. However, in Gamora’s case she actually has a fair bit as far as toys go. Many of which were announced prior to the movie’s release. The best thing you can do is buy what’s available and ask your local retailers to carry it.

With Guardians of the Galaxy being very big right now, this is the best way to bring forth future consideration for MORE Gamora merchandise.

Since I’m doing a toy blog, I chose to focus on the toys and collectibles available and coming out. It’s important to note t-shirts, cups, mugs, lunch kits posters and Halloween costumes also exist.

I hope spreading awareness of what’s actually available will encourage people to seek out and support retailers that will bring in these items.

Important to note that some of these aren’t out yet: The Disney Infinity one doesn’t come out till December, when the Marvel Heroes (Disney Infinity 2.0) comes out; the GotG Marvel Legends aren’t available yet, but should be coming soon; and I haven’t seen the new movie Minimates come in yet either. And the Hot Toys one comes out next year….
Also, at least one of the non-movie minimates is an older one, and harder to find as a result. (Not sure about the other one you posted)
So, yes, there will be stuff coming - and there has been stuff made - but I think the problem is the *current* selection is weak.
Clearly someone in marketing made a big error in judging how popular GotG, and Gamora specifically, would be.

The first minimate is actually quite common and comes in at TT quite often. :)

one of my favorite things about robin williams is that when he was filming “one hour photo” there’s a scene where he offers a boy an action figure from the store he works in, and robin williams asked the director if he could pick the toy and he fucking brought in his own evangelion figure and somehow the director said yes, even though there’s no way a store like that at that time would have a toy like that

Bless you, Mr. Williams. RIP. <3
